LTE-M (Long-Term Evolution for Machines) is a type of low-power, wide-area (LPWA) communication technology developed specifically to support Internet of Things (IoT) applications. It is part of the LTE family and operates on existing 4G LTE cellular infrastructure, making it widely accessible and easy to deploy across many regions.
